Thanks for visiting my Beach Ready Body fitness blog. If you have been here before, you might know that I am a Independent Beachbody Coach and I am a huge fan of the Beachbody workout programs like P90X, Insanity, T25, TurboFire and Combat.
I’ve been writing about these fitness programs for a few years and have been personally coaching people for much longer. I’ve had a chance to see what helps people reach their fitness goals and what doesn’t and decided to put together this 5 day video series for fitness success.
I’ve been asked many of the same questions over the years and decided that it would be helpful to give you all the answers up front before starting on your fitness journey so that you are prepared with all of the tools, both mental and material, to guarantee your results.
I want you to lose all the weight you want to lose. I want you to get the hard body you have always wanted. And, I want you to thrive every day in all aspects of your life.
You cannot thrive until you get your health in order first.
If you follow this five part guide to fitness success, I promise that you will reach your health and fitness goals and become more fit than you ever thought possible. It doesn’t matter if you are 18 or 80 years old, the principles are the same. One you prepare your foundation for success, there will be no stopping you.
These same success principles work for every fitness program, so the important thing is that you pick an exercise program that gets you excited. I’m a big fan of Tony Horton and Shaun T and I’ve used P90X and Insanity to recover from a bad shoulder injury and then continue to get in the best shape of my life.
A lot of ladies love Chalene Johnson’s TurboFire and TurboJam series. If you like to shake your booty a little while working your body out, these programs are the best.
Once you chose your fitness program, and this guide applies to any fitness regimen, you have to get your diet sorted out. Nutrition is just as critical to your success as the exercise component. If you don’t eat real food, food that is delicious and purposeful, you will not achieve your goals. But, you can change your eating habits and you will learn to love your new food choices and wonder how you ever survived on inferior processed foods.
The next thing you need is support. I’ve been putting together online support groups this past year and they have been a huge win for everyone. They are social, fun and provide the support and inspiration everyone needs for success. You can do it alone, but it’s way more fun and generally more successful when you have a support network behind you. Having a community of friendly people all holding each other accountable makes the effort much easier.
